Entry formalities
- A valid passport is required for French and European Union nationals. No visa is required for stays of less than 90 days.

‍Quantityof Duty-Free Products Allowed
Visitors aged 16 or over may import the following duty-free items: 250 g of tobacco (including cigars and cigarettes), 2 liters of wine, beer or ale, 1 liter of spirits, approximately 25 cl of eau de toilette and 10 cl of perfume.

Health
No vaccinations are required, unless the traveler has been in a country affected by yellow fever, cholera or smallpox within the last 3 months. Tap water is drinkable everywhere.

Being a tropical island, there are only two seasons in Mauritius: summer and winter. During the summer months, from November to April, the temperature varies from 25°C to 31°C, and during the winter months, from May to October, it varies from 15°C to 25°C.
