It's an archipelago made up of five distinct islands, Basse-Terre: mountainous, wooded and volcanic, it's home to rivers and waterfalls, notably the Carbet Falls. Dominated by the Soufrière volcano, it offers unforgettable hiking trails. Black sand beaches and the Cousteau underwater reserve add to its charm.
Grande-Terre: discover the Grand cul-de-sac marine nature reserve and the magnificent white sand beaches from Gosier to Saint-François.
La Désirade: this wild island off the beaten track is a true haven of peace.
Marie-Galante: nicknamed "l'île aux cent moulins" or "la Galette", this island is famous for its white sandy beaches, sugar cane plantations and distilleries, which bear witness to its rich heritage.
Les Saintes : this archipelago of nine islets, two of which are inhabited, is famous for the bay of Terre-de-Haut and its Pain de Sucre, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
